Further to Carbon Trading Schemes
This note is for the federal Politicians of all persuasions and for every voter in Australia.
The ABC news this morning reported that electricity prices will increase in NSW by 64% over the next three years. Half of that increase directly attributed to the carbon Trading Scheme currently before the federal parliament.
So far there is not one shred of evidence to prove that carbon Trading Schemes will lower any pollution at all, let alone stop global warming. Wake up Australia, we are all being conned by scaremongering tactics.
I have been searching the net for something positive about Carbon Trading and have found that a majority of postings are against it. It is said to be a king sized scam to make money for the rich.
Say no, to Carbon Trading Schemes, and wait until science can actually prove that they can do something. So far there is no proof at all, just guesswork.
Consider the consequent cost increases which will come from implementing the Carbon trading Scheme.
1 .The federal Govt will pay increases to low and fixed income people to compensate for the increased costs.
2.Every business which uses electricity will increase the price for its products
3. Fuel prices will probably rise also.
4 The Reserve Bank will increase the interest rates because of the inflationary effect of compensatory payments
5. The purchasing power of the low income people will be reduced even further and pensioners and the like will no longer be peering over the wall of poverty, they may well vanish behind it.
I think Mr Rudd has been given the wrong advice and if he is a real leader he may acknowledge that and be worthy of another chance after the forthcoming election.
