Polling Day
Well, I have made up my mind. Or perhaps i should say that Tony helped me make up my mind. Sorry old chap, I just can’t vote for you, You party, under Howard, took away my dental care, sold the people’s bank, the Commonwealth Bank, sold Telstra for about half its value, also belonged to the Australian people, and then had the absolute gall to pat yourselves on the back and say:
” Look at the money we have in the bank. Aren’t we good.”
Then MR Abbot, you proudly stated that 15 of those politicians who took so much away from the people of Australia are still there, waiting ,to do the same thing again.
Your complaints about a “leak” from the Treasury Dept may be justified, or, they may be an ingenious way of avoiding having your election promises properly scrutinised.
I am not a labour supporter but having so much taken away from me by Liberal/Country party in previous Govts, I sure as hell can’t vote for them. I have to decide whether independent or Greenies. Maybe independent in the lower house and Greenies in the Senate. That could put the cat among the pigeons in both houses and perhaps Don Chip’s “keep the bastards honest” aim may yet be realised.
Because I am no expert I point out what are glaring examples, to me anyway, of the coalitions failures and apparent objectives.
AS usual, these words outline my opinions only. Each one of you out there must make up your own mind.
