What does Take-away-Tony think he is doing now. He, the almighty, does not trust Treasury to check his models and costings for his Election Promises. Why ? If by some freakish miracle he became Prime Minister who would he get to do the job of Treasury ? A private Accountant?
Mr Abbot, the money you are sending is ours, yes ours, the people of Australia, not your own or your party’s.
Therefore we, the people who vote, have a right to know where our money is going to be spent for OUR advantage.
This ‘hung Parliament’ was brought about by the very things you are doing now. Hiding information from the people, which they should have access to as a right.
Maybe it IS time for proportional representation in both house of Parliament and maybe it is also time for the Senate members to be elected by the people on an electorate base instead of the present farcical method.
My opinion is that the current political system has fostered corruption on a grand scale and MUST be reformed, preferably, NOW.
