What is going on? Would someone in Government please put out the details of how it works and what the costs are going to be? How much per month for x, y, or z speed? AND how much for a variety of Gigabytes per month including uploads and downloads?
I am getting very concerned that my current IP will have to charge me more for the same service I now receive. Up until now, I was not charged for uploads at all, only downloads. I think that very soon I shall be paying for both, and that will increase the cost of using the Internet.
I am an older man on a fixed income and enjoy my time on writing sites with a bit of social networking thrown in. I cannot afford to go out very often as the costs for a dinner at a restaurant are beyond my capacity. Same thing applies to a football game, a night at the theatre or virtually any social outing. Therefore I use the Net as it is something I can afford to do at present.
Would someone in the know please publish the proposed costs so everyone can make up their own minds about it? Or is our current Government so well controlled by overseas interests that they DO NOT KNOW themselves?
I am sure you will all forgive an old man for bitterly complaining about the steady and continuing export of wealth generated in our country. If this trend continues I can foresee a time when this country will be owned by someone else from wherever, and we shall be mere slaves in bondage.
