GM - Seeds - humans?

Genetic Modification
Seeds, plants ,bees and other insects, people.
Science keeps telling us how wonderful its abilities are in the genetic modification of seeds. Corn, canola etc. Higher production, lower prices, less cost to produce and so on. However, here we are, years down the track and there is no noticeable difference in anything except the ever increasing cost of the basic items needed to live.
But what else is happening? No one knows because no one is looking. For instance bees are dying out in areas where genetically modified crops cover the largest areas of farmland. Why? Is it because the modification of the genes in the seeds has changed the pollen too?
Research has been limited to the companies selling and promoting their genetically Modified product and they sure as hell are not going to publish anything they find which might limit the sale of their product. Who else is researching GM foods? Why, no one of course. The economics demands that there is a profit and that’s where it all stops, profit – at any price.
In Tasmania a river is poisoned when the leaves from a genetically modified gum tree plantation rot in the water. Those leaves turn to poison. In the next river valley the same type of trees do not turn poisonous, but they grew by nature’s hand not the genetically modified scientific way.
Throughout our food supply there are GM products coupled with a range of chemicals used for: Preservatives artificial flavouring, bug killers on ‘fresh’ vegetables. And so on. For instance did you know that imported fresh garlic is fumigated with ‘Methyl Bromide’, a lethal chemical deadly to anything that lives. It is used to prevent any ‘unwanted’ diseases from entering this country. How much of this stuff stays on the garlic we buy and eat? Onions are sprayed with ‘ no shoot’, whatever that is. I know it’s a chemical to prevent the onions from growing on the supermarket shelves and thus losing value to the supermarket.
Now consider something else, not directly associated with GM products at. Human diseases. Mental Diseases of many kinds
Asthma, Autism, genetic defects from birth, Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosus, Motor Neurome disease.
All of these are on the increase, are we ‘Genetically ‘ modifying the human race?
Don’t get me wrong on this, I am not blaming simply the GM stuff, but it does seem strange that in recent years all these diseases are on the increase. Chemicals are used more often than not in processed foods of all kinds. Each is considered harmless to humans on its own, BUT, what happens when this cocktail of chemicals is consumed on a regular basis by unknowing humans? I’ll bet my bottom dollar no one is even looking. No one knows, but as long as there are profits for those ‘investors’, the long term consequences are irrelevant.
