Disturbing Times

The people of Australia have shown how disillusioned they are with the existing political system. Now is the time to make the necessary changes to reflect the wishes of all Australia. We need to have a stable and productive DEMOCRATIC government, not a cheap twisted imitation.
The State of Queensland is said to be a Govt Corporation known as the Brigalow Corporation and registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission under No 0001244818.
What the hell is going on? Are we being sold out by the political machine?
We have a ‘Hung Parliament’ after the Federal election. Now is the time for the political machine to listen to the people of Australia, change the way the Government operates and perhaps guarantee the Australian people that Australia belongs to Australians.
Isn’t it time that all 150 elected made a positive contribution to the governance of Australia for the benefit of ALL Australians. This would naturally include our Aboriginal People.
It is time that proportional representation was made a fact of politics. Then all ‘parties’ might have a say in Government.
Multi-party cabinets would be a distinct advantage in policy making decisions. No secrecy and all elected members of Parliament would have time to examine the legislation they are required to vote on.
Those “Faceless’ power brokers from the back room would be out of a job and our elected members would then earn their salaries.
Will our political movers, shakers, and members take up the challenge and make the necessary changes to clean out mud left over from years of mud slinging matches or will they try to hide the mud under the carpet ?
Open multi party cabinets would remove the knife in the back accusations that dominate many press releases. The real reason for dumping a cabinet member, or Prime Minister, would be public knowledge.
