Compensation for Carbon Tax.
This Carbon Tax is rapidly becoming a nightmare for the whole of Australia. The Tax was supposedly to put pressure on the polluters to cut emissions but it seems as if everyone in polluting industries is going to be compensated for their theoretical losses. The only ones to suffer will be MR & Mrs Average Australian. They will simply be forced to pay higher prices for food, electricity and just about everything else they buy, in order to stay alive.
Give it up Madame Prime Minister!!! It is obvious to me that the corrupt advice you have received about carbon being the sole cause of Climate Change is quite deliberate. You are being manipulated by unknown powers to help reduce Australia’s economic position in the world today. A weakened Australian economy will help other economies to appear stronger than they are, and pervert the balance of trade, world wide. Is that what the Labor party stands for these days?
We all know that it is impossible to prove, or disprove, the theory of climate being greatly affected by emissions of carbon. Only time will tell. Forgive me if I say, WAIT, and see what happens in the next few years. Australia will be badly disadvantaged if we have an un-necessary addition to our cost of production which other competing nations don’t have.
I know from past experience that once a tax is initiated it is never taken away again. Do something positive for Australia and hold back this Carbon Tax. If the rest of the world sets up such a tax at some future date, then join them, but don’t try to big note us by being the first to cut their own economic throats.
I just had a thought: - Are you working for Australia?, or working for an unspecified foreign country?
