And the Band Plays On.
Here we are, two weeks, almost, after an election and still no Government. The wheeling and dealing is evident in every news report, every TV news broadcast, and every political article posted on the internet.
The people of Australia have indicated that they do NOT want the current party system of Govt to go on forever. I am a lone voice, crying in the political wilderness, but, CAN WE PLEASE HAVE PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION?
Next, can we have a parliament where everyone we vote in as a representative can HAVE A VOICE so that they may at least try to represent those who elected them?
Thirdly, can we have an open and honest parliament?
I know that is asking a lot but, this is my country and this is how I want it to be Governed.
