A Minority Government
Now we in Australia can expect some confusion from the almighty who are entrenched in the political scene. No longer can the faceless back room boys make the decisions for all elected members of their Political Party. Open Government can only be good for this country of ours.
I am pleased that Julia Gillard is confirmed as our first female Prime Minister, even if only by a hairs breadth. I voted independent, but Julia is perhaps the better of the two options available to choose from.
All party faithful can put away their knives, and get on with Governance of the country. We did elect 150 members to represent us, and every one of them should be heard in the Parliament.
May the power of the Party be forever diminished and Power of the People reign supreme.
