Exploration - Coal Seam gas

December 20th 2010 05:47
Coal Seam Gas
What is the NSW Government thinking of? Approving exploration for coal seam gas may well spell the pollution of our waterways and the destruction of some of our prime agricultural land. The USA is exploring like mad with few concerns for their environment at all. I expect that from them, their objective is to make money by whatever means possible. Their rivers and waterways already suffer from unacceptable pollution and we in Australia don’t want that here.
Stop any further exploration for coal seam gas until a safe method can be developed.. the present way of pumping highly toxic chemicals (Currently un-named) into our soil just on the premise that a profit can be made from the resulting gas is courting disaster for our country

Wikileaks Again

Wikileaks Again
Strange how the focus of the Americans is on the founder of the Wikileaks Web Site and not on the source of the leaks from the USA itself. One man cannot get access to the mountain of information already released on Wikileaks. There has to be some group inside the various Govt Departments in the USA, working with a specific objective in mind, Power hungry ?? Fed up with the corruption in Government circles, (We all have it , every country on the planet) or perhaps some rednecks just trying to bring the USA down.
Julien Assange is merely the front man for whoever is running the show and concentrating on him is merely diverting attention from more important, and maybe more dangerous, matters in another area. I wonder what the hell is really going on, who is behind it all, and what is the ultimate objective

Wikileaks and Australia

Wikileaks and Australia
I wonder how much pressure has been brought to bear on Julia Gillard for her to call the Wikileaks boss a criminal? He has not broken any law of Australia, not in any way, shape or form. Get real Julia, apologise to the man. He is an Australian citizen and is entitled to whatever protection the Australian Govt can give.
The US of America is really embarrassed by the latest lot of leaks, but that is only the thin edge of the wedge. The other, really important , stuff, which has not been released is what frightens those Americans. It frightens me too. The worlds largest economy is hovering on the brink of collapse now and something new and nasty could bring the whole box and dice crashing to the dround
