What does Take-away-Tony think he is doing now. He, the almighty, does not trust Treasury to check his models and costings for his Election Promises. Why ? If by some freakish miracle he became Prime Minister who would he get to do the job of Treasury ? A private Accountant?

Disturbing Times

The people of Australia have shown how disillusioned they are with the existing political system. Now is the time to make the necessary changes to reflect the wishes of all Australia. We need to have a stable and productive DEMOCRATIC government, not a cheap twisted imitation.

Election -Hung out to Dry.

Well, the voters have spoken. Loudly too. Take Away Tony looks to have the slightly larger part of the House Of Assembly and may well be asked to form a Government. However, in the present climate on the political scene he may not be able to Govern. He will have to make deals with the independents who hold the balance of power.
What of your great promises now Tony?
What will you sacrifice, and who, to become Prime Minister

Polling Day
Well, I have made up my mind. Or perhaps i should say that Tony helped me make up my mind. Sorry old chap, I just can’t vote for you, You party, under Howard, took away my dental care, sold the people’s bank, the Commonwealth Bank, sold Telstra for about half its value, also belonged to the Australian people, and then had the absolute gall to pat yourselves on the back and say:
” Look at the money we have in the bank. Aren’t we good

Broad Band Internet

Broadband network
I would dearly love to see a good fast broad band network for all of Australia as soon as possible. So far we seem to have two choices.
Labour and 40 billion dollars with fibre optics to most reasonably closely settled areas. This also means that Australia will own the infrastructure and the commercial Internet providers will buy bandwith from us in Australia. This would give our Govt an income for the Infrastructure provided and, theoretically at least, repay the cost of building the network

Treasurers Debate?
It’s a shame I am not a journalist, I could actually get paid real money for my opinions.
Joe Hockey and Wayne Swan, wanna-be treasurer and real treasurer. Of the two I would have to stick with Wayne. Joe was negative to a fault, and really had no policies to work with. He was like a soldier at the front line who discovers he has no ammunition. His eyes wandered around most of the time as if he was checking for the nearest exit door. Shame really, for Joe deserves better than that

The Election Campaign (Claytons, of course)
If the present rate of ex-prime ministers becoming involved carries on, we shall have enough experienced prime ministers to fill the needs of all electorates with them. Mind you, I doubt that the voters would like that. We have to have one, it’s in our Constitution, but more than one would be a nightmare.
What do we, as citizens of this country, really want from our political representatives
